The ‘Battle Of The Sounds’ competition is being resurrected in South Australia to give local up and coming original bands / music artists (in youth category 25 and under) an opportunity to perform and win over $15,000 in prizes; including the chance to perform alongside some of Australia’s greatest musicians at one of SA’s biggest up and coming concerts – the ‘Myponga Music Festival 2021’.

The legendary Battle of the Sounds competition was an annual focal point for Australian rock music from its inception in 1966 until it finished in 1972.
