About Em Rusciano: LIVE & Unleashed!
Following her recent Melbourne Live at the Bowl performance, audiences at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Saturday 5 June, Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall on Saturday 12 June and Sydney’s Big Top Luna Park on Saturday 19 June can expect the same charisma you know and love; and then some.
‘With Rusciano there are no censors, no apologies and absolutely no holding back. And it makes for one hell of a show.’ – Adelaide Now
‘She has the kind of inborn charisma a hundred other acts around town wish they could buy off-the-rack.’ – Herald Sun
Rusciano’s LIVE & Unleashed shows will be intimate and stripped back, exciting and bursting with energy. Em can’t wait to reconnect in person with her beloved fans after a lengthy time apart and will bring her family along for the ride; with her adored dad Vincie on guitar and daughter Chella Rusciano-Barrow on vocals. Three generations on one stage!
“I’m absolutely ecstatic to be bringing my LIVE & Unleashed shows to audiences across Australia. After nearly a year of hibernation, my Live at the Bowl show in Melbourne gave me a taste of what I’ve missed most about performing, my audience and the enthusiasm that they bring to each and every show. I am so thrilled that this time around I’ll be able to share the stage with my daughter Chella and father Vincie. To have three generations of my family on stage with me has long been a dream of mine. Old power stance Rusciano is back, see you in June, I can’t wait!” – Em Rusciano
In a recent newsletter, Rusciano encouraged her fans to get back out there at live performances, acknowledging that “…You’re not only supporting them but all the people that they employ. Everyone from tour managers, to lighting, to sound, to roadies, to ushers, to venue employees. The arts needs you to support it in its time of need, like it supports you in yours.”
With her finger firmly in every piece of the entertainment pie, Rusciano’s varied and exciting career has seen her co-host breakfast radio, release chart-topping songs, best-selling books and audiobooks, feature as a regular host on Channel Ten’s ‘The Project’, and sell out live comedy shows at Sydney Opera House, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre and Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
